Dale Alan Munson born 7-1-1966, went to be with the Lord on 8-28-2015
Dale loved the Lord and really enjoyed talking with his family about Him.
The love and concern that Dale had for his family, friends and community was always upper most on his mind. If there was some way to help others when they were having problems he would be the first to come to their rescue with kind and comforting words that came straight from his heart.
Dale was always into helping people and loved to see people challenge themselves, grow in their abilities and reach their goals.
In this spirit of helping, Dale’s friends and family have begun this project (The Dale Munson Children’s Library and St. Jude Kindergarten) to honor Dale’s memory and his helping ways.
This school and library has been recently incorporated into Upward International Schools and supplied with study guides and materials from Abeka Books. This is an extremely valuable asset to the children of the Bujumba village and surrounding areas who desperately need a place to go to study and do research.
The St. Jude Kindergarten and Dale Munson Children’s Library is a great asset to this remote Kenyan village and the children there which is something that Dale would be very proud of and very enthusiastic about.
He was all about giving people the opportunity to improve themselves and in his memory we want not only ourselves but all of you through your generous donations to help carry on that tradition.
Apollo Sibuda, an educator and very good friend, that lives in Bujumba Kenya, came up with the idea of memorializing Dale through a children’s library and offered to set up the library on his family land/building.
Since it’s inception, the school and library building has undergone a number of upgrades including a new latrine, stuccoed inside and outside walls and tiled flooring.
But more is needed. There is currently no electricity to the building and the exterior needs a final coat of paint with professional signs.
